Is it true that in the Apennine region of Lucania, in southern Italy, with its valleys rich in history and tradition, a widespread sense of the sacred survives through the faith of its people? Amid devotional processions of saints and madonnas, rows of wind turbines that have partly transformed a landscape that is at times wild, and the unceasing flow of seasons dictated by the wind, the filmmaker goes in search of a spirituality that our times seem to have lost.
